ABSTRACT
Many libraries, academic institutions, governmental agencies, non-profit and for-profit agencies, and other groups around the world have implemented institutional repositories (IR) in the past few years. In her pre-conference presentation, Carol Hixson, from the University of Oregon, provided an overview of the issues and challenges in implementing an IR.
