Abstract
Using the constructed pseudobinary joins and phase equilibria in the Zn-Cd-P-As system, we have determined the stability regions and space groups of ternary and quaternary solid solutions. Evidence is presented that orthorhombic cadmium diphosphide does not exist. Based on detailed studies of the physicochemical properties of II–V crystals, we have proposed and fabricated a number of electronic devices.
