Allopeas myrmekophilos n. sp., the first snail reported as living in army ant colonies (Gastropoda: Pulmonata: Subulinidae)

Abstract
For the first time a gastropod species living associated with ants is described with Allopeas myrmekophilos. The new species was discovered in Malaysia as a regular guest in colonies of the army ant Leptogenys distinguenda. The new species differs from other Allopeas species by its vivipary.
Kurzfassung
Mit Allopeas myrmekophilos wird erstmals eine mit Ameisen assoziierte Schnecke beschrieben. Die neue Art wurde in Malaysia als regelmäßiger Gast in Kolonien der Treiberameise Leptogenys distinguenda entdeckt. Sie ist von anderen Allopeas-Arten durch Viviparie unterschieden.
