Summary

A review is given on the analytical use of a reagent containing fluotitanic acid and hydrogen peroxide. The applicability is based on the stronger stability of the fluoro-complex of a metal in comparison to titanium. Pertitanic acid is formed which can be determined colorimetrically. The determinations of silicon and boron are dealt with in detail. (The original papers have been published in Japanese language.)
