Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to discuss the tense system and some deictic temporal adverbials (DTAdvs) in Greek (Gr). I will represent tense by applying the neo-Reichenbachian model. Furthermore, I will suggest a mapping mechanism for the syntactic representation of tense departing from Giorgi & Pianesi’s (1991) theory. Finally, I will discuss the relation of tense and DTAdvs with the aim of providing a syntactic analysis for the latter.
