Abstract

The chapter presents a new commercial approach based in tablets that is supported by a software platform and commercially nominated services called Nimian (www.nimiam.com.br). The aim of this solution is to provide a commercial platform that provides some innovation to the process of sales and marketing through new technologies, allowing the company to advertise itself, its brands and products, and also create a new and different experience with the customer. The chapter also discusses how new technologies can contribute to the provision of new services allied to the products offered by companies manufacturing goods. It is something relatively new to show all the benefits of using tablets in business. An exploratory study was carried out based on the studies of real cases, thus broadening the investigation of using tablets in marketing business.
