Abstract

Original measuring cell was used to study the electrical conductivity, viscosity, and light transmission of the ternary system constituted by water, furfuryl alcohol, and OP-10 foaming agent at 20°C. The optical characteristics of the solutions and formation of emulsions and liquid-crystalline phases were examined.
