Abstract
Oxidation of tetracycline® in an electrochemical cell with separated cathodic and anodic compartments on smooth platinum was studied. The extent of electrochemical degradation of tetracycline and the energy consumption for eliminating the biological activity of its aqueous solutions were estimated.
