A novel As42+ structural unit with diphosphinomethanide bridging ligands from the reaction of AsCl3 with Li[C(PMe2)2(SiMe3)]

Abstract

Two As2[C(PMe2)2(SiMe3)] five membered ring units are linked via an As–As bond and thus form an As42+ chain in a compound obtained from a redox reaction between AsCl3 and Li[C(PMe2)2(SiMe3)].
