Photoinitiated doping of polyacetylene

Abstract

Ultraviolet irradiation of polyacetylene films treated with diaryliodonium or triarylsuphonium salts leads to doping of the exposed areas and provides greater control of the doping process than can be achieved by conventional doping methods.
