Quantitative formation and clean metal exchange processes of large void (>5000 Å3) nanobox structures

Abstract

The metallosupramolecular assembly of linear and macrocyclic bisphenanthrolines in the presence of Cu+ provides nanobox structures with internal volumes of >5000 Å3 when the ligands are designed along the HETPHEN approach.
