Novel hexa- and pentacoordinate sulfur compounds: Dichlorodiazapersulfurane and its persulfonium salt from 1,11-(methanoaminomethano)-5H,7H-dibenzo[b,g] [1,5]thiazocine
The reaction of 1,11-(methanoaminomethano)-5H,7H-dibenzo-[b,g][1,5]thiazocine with t-BuOCl or N-chlorobenzotriazole gave a novel hypervalent sulfur compound, dichlorodiazapersulfurane 1 which was easily converted to the corresponding persulfonium ion 2.
