Conjugated Polymers for Aptasensing Applications
2023, BiomacromoleculesEffect of oxidants and dopant on morphology, crystallinity and optical absorbance of nano structural polyindole
2021, Materials Today: ProceedingsCitation Excerpt :Various studies suggest that the polymerization process is strongly affected by the nature of oxidants, used solvent, applied temperature, and concentration of reagents [10]. Study on chemical polymerization of indole to polyindole was firstly introduced in 1976 and then in 1982, Tourillon and Garnier used electrochemical methods regarding synthesis of conducting polyindole [14]. After these initial experiments, the attention towards polyindole was given by the researchers because of its multiple advantages, including fairly good thermal stability in comparison with those of polyaniline (PAN) and polypyrrole (PPy) [15].
Conducting Polymer-Based Nanocomposites: Fundamentals and Applications
2021, Conducting Polymer-Based Nanocomposites: Fundamentals and ApplicationsPolythiophene/graphene composite as a highly efficient platinum-free counter electrode in dye-sensitized solar cells
2015, Electrochimica ActaCitation Excerpt :PEDOT: PSS/GR composite was used as a CE in DSSCs by Hong et al. [30] which exhibited an efficiency of 4.5%. Among the conducting polymers, polythiophene (PTh) and its derivatives have gained special appeal because of their easy synthesis, good electrical conductivity, good electrochemical behavior and good environmental stability [31–33]. The incorporation of GR in PTh may enhance the conductivity in the polymer and thereby improving the photovoltaic performance.
