Pleural calcification as a sign of asbestosis: A report of three cases

Summary

The previously reported radiological features of asbestosis are reviewed.

Attention is drawn to the value of calcified pleural plaques as an additional sign of long-standing asbestosis and two theories regarding the origin of these plaques are mentioned.
