Abstract

The rate constants of the ion-neutral reactions that have been studied with flowing-after-glow, flow-drift, and selected-ion flow tubes have been compiled. The data for both positive- and negative-ion reactions are included and are arranged for access by the reactant ion, reactant neutral, and product ion. Measured equilibrium constants, enthalpy and entropy changes, and product ratios are also given, where available. The internal consistency of this set of rate constants is shown to be remarkably good.

In this work, the revised model consists of 287 reactions with 55 species. Five main groups of reactions were included, whereas the rate constants of reactions were mostly taken from the literature (Albritton, 1978; NIST, 2015; Mätzing, 1991). The units of rate constants are 1/s, m3/mole·s and m6/mole2·s for first-, second- and third- order reactions, respectively.
