A method is examined for fuzzy correction of the coefficients of a controller in a system designed to control tension during the winding of nonwoven materials. The main steps in the design of fuzzy tension controllers are determined and the design process is described linguistically. The rule base of the controller is optimized in accordance with the dynamic regimes of the controlled object and a comparative analysis is made of different tension feedback loops. Aspects of creating fuzzy algorithms are discussed.
