Zusammenfassung
Hintergrund
Abstract
Background
Glenohumeral instability is one of the most frequent joint instabilities of the human body. Conservative measures are frequently associated with good outcomes for the sedentary population and also for top athletes. If surgical measures are nevertheless warranted, complications can occur.
Objective
In this article the most frequent complications of these stabilizing operations are classified according to soft tissue stabilization and bony augmentation. The avoidance strategies and the preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative management of these complications are illustrated.
