Es wurden die kardiotonischen Wirkungen des Digoxigenins, sowie deren 5 Derivate, einschliesslich des 5α-Digoxigenins, auf das isolierte Forschherz untersucht und Vergleiche mit den entsprechenden Aglykonen der Digitoxigenin-Reihe gezogen.
