Structure of microemulsions: role of the interfacial flexibility

Summary

First, recent results on structural and interfacial aspects of microemulsions are reviewed. Then the role of the flexibility of the oil/water interface is proposed to interpret the formation of these systems.

Si esaminano dapprima i risultati sugli aspetti strutturali e interfacciali delle microemulsioni. Si propone quindi il ruolo della flessibilità dell'interfaccia olio/acqua per interpretare la formazione di questi sistemi.

В первой части статьи анализируются недавние результаты, касающиеся структурных и мезфазных аспектов микроэмульсий. Во второй части обсуждается роль гибкости гпаницы раздела между нефтью и водой при интерпретации образования этих систем.
