E dimostrato che lentinan, polisaccaride antineoplastic, è capace di aumentare la sensibitità del topo contro istamina. La presomministrazione di lentinan invece non aumenta l'attività del fattore istamina sensibilizzante dellaBordetella pertussis. Lentinan non induce linfocitose nel topo.
