Abstract

The chapter elaborates on the analysis of groundwater hydro-chemical characteristic, assessing the groundwater quality and groundwater pollution according to the groundwater quality data collected in the 2005 and judging the sources of groundwater pollution according to the distribution of land use, pollutant sources and concentration of typical components which exceed the groundwater quality standard. The results will guide the following validation of groundwater pollution risk mapping and making the appropriate risk control measures.
