Abstract
The traditional planning paradigm is insufficient to address the challenges of climate change. Planners must confront heightened uncertainty and longer time horizons. A new model of planning is offered to make the transition to plans that account for multiple futures, monitoring and more flexible strategies needed for adaptive responses.
