Abstract
Greek agriculture has experienced very rapid changes in the post World War II period (Myrick and Witucki, 1971; Sanders, 1962; Shaw, 1969; Weintraub and Shapira, 1975). Changes were very rapid, considering the catastrophes of World War II and the civil war that followed. The infrastructure and the productive capacity of present day Greek agriculture have been substantially transformed compared to pre-war structures.
