Modelling of Eutrophication and Oxygen Depletion in the Lake Lappajärvi

  • Chapter

Abstract

Lake Lappajärvi is loaded by nonpoint source pollution and has a slight oxygen consumption and internal phosphorus loading. A water quality model was constructed to simulate physical, chemical and biological processes affecting phytoplankton growth and oxygen deficit.
