Isolation and culture

  • Chapter
Plant Protoplasts

Abstract

This chapter will describe the various methods used for the isolation and culture of plant protoplasts. It should be noted, however, that an enormous variation exists in the style of experiments and the degree of success of each method. Although certain ground rules can be layed down with regard to these experiments there is still a relatively high empirical approach towards them.
