Hydrohalic acid interaction with copper surfaces: Cu(100) – chloride and bromide

Abstract

This chapter provides a brief analysis of the adsorption of chloride and bromide ions by Cu(100) surfaces when in contact with hydrogen chloride and hydrogen bromide respectively.
