Zusammenfassung

Nach einer kurzen Einführung in das therapeutische Drug Monitoring (TDM) wird die praktische Durchführung von TDM beschrieben. An Einzelfällen wird beispielhaft dargestellt, wie TDM für die Steuerung der antidepressiven Therapie sinnvoll genutzt werden kann. Es soll verdeutlicht werden, dass TDM ein Instrument der individualisierten Pharmakotherapie ist, ein Werkzeug für rationale Pharmakotherapie.
