Zusammenfassung

Lokale Injektionen von Botulinum Toxin Typ A haben sich in den letzten Jahren zur Therapie der Wahl des essentiellen Blepharospasmus und hemifacialen Spasmus entwickelt (1). Inzwischen ist der Torticollis spasmodicus die dritte Hauptindikation für lokale Botulinum Toxin-Injektionen geworden, jedoch gibt es bislang nur wenig Berichte über die Langzeit-ergebnisse mit diesem Behandlungsansatz (2, 3).
