Abstract
Oscillating chemical reactions, subjected to external periodic perturbations, can give rise to interesting non-equilibrium phenomena such as frequency entrainment, resonance effects, phase-locking, and chaotic motion [1,2]. Previously investigated chemical systems, besides simple artificial models, were mostly extremely complex and even the unperturbed ones were not completely understood. The investigation of a less complicated chemical oscillator, which is well understood by a detailed mechanism, can therefore contribute to a better understanding of such phenomena.
