Respiration in Intact Plants and Tissues: Its Regulation and Dependence on Environmental Factors, Metabolism and Invaded Organisms

  • Chapter

Part of the book series: Encyclopedia of Plant Physiology ((PLANT,volume 18))

Abstract

In this chapter respiration as an integrated part of the metabolism of the intact plant will be considered; its aim is to discuss the qualitative and, wherever possible, quantitative links of respiration with various other aspects of metabolism.
