Abstract

The management of fractures and traumatic hematomas is at the core of surgery in neurotraumatology. Often only a few minutes make the difference between recovery and catastrophy. Thus swift and targeted management is of crucial importance. The pathology, diagnosis, and operative measures are outlined below for fractures and hematomas. In real life, however, multiple injuries of course often occur together.
