Eine systematische Abhandlung aller Substanzen, Medikamente und Drogen, die das Herz schädigen können, würde den Rahmen dieses Bandes sprengen. Wir beschränken uns deshalb auf die Besprechung der kardiotoxischen Wirkung des Alkohols, der Antrazykline, denen in der Tumorbehandlung entscheidende Fortschritte zu danken sind, und des Kokains, dem heute vor allem als Droge eine wesentliche Bedeutung zukommt.
