Breast Augmentation and Reconstruction with Fat Transfer

Abstract

The author discusses the indications, preoperative planning, atraumatic fat harvesting and preparation including low pressure technique and atraumatic anaerobic harvesting, and technique of fat transfer. Fat grafting may be considered for breast augmentation and correction of defects, however, results are dependent on technique and surgeon expertise.
