Applying Bio-Measurements Methodologies in Science Education Research

Abstract

Learning science at school is a complex learning task with success depending on several internal (e.g., prior knowledge, ability, personal characteristics) and external factors (e.g., teacher’s competences, syllabus, classroom climate). Science education and the perception of science classes as “hard” or “difficult” are discussed by scholars, science teachers, and students for at least three decades.
