Abstract
In recent years, several experts have suggested that knowledge and information are increasingly becoming critically important “assets” for competitive success. To do well, firms have to explicitly manage “organizational learning” efforts directed at building knowledge and information they can use in the future. However, no one has linked these ideas to the other critical basis for corporate competition: relentless pursuit of improved quality.
