Abstract
The antibody response of mice to poly(LTyr, LGlu)-poly(LPro)—poly(LLys), abbreviated (T, G)-Pro—L, is specific for the Pro—L region of the immunogen and is genetically controlled. SJL mice are high responders to this immunogen, whereas DBA/1 and SWR mice are low responders. DBA/1 mice do not produce antibodies to Pro—L, but respond well to antigenic determinants attached to this moiety, while SWR mice do not respond to Pro—L or to any determinant attached to this carrier.
